Working with people who are committed to improving their lives is an enormous privilege and I take it very seriously, ensuring that they exceed their own expectations as to what is possible.
There is often a great energy in the room during a coaching session as the decision to improve and change a set of circumstances is always exciting. The possibilities are endless.
I am a very positive and upbeat person. I am very passionate about working with people who want to make the most of their life and I feel a great sense of achievement with each client's progress.
If you decide that you want to change something and you take the actions agreed, the improvements that you are looking for will start to happen immediately. This has been proved time and time again.
Find out here what my clients like about the benefits of working with me...
"Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you are right." Henry Ford said this and it is such a true statement. The power of our mind is so strong that we must be sure to keep our thoughts in check.
What if nothing stood in your way? What if you believed in yourself so much that you didn't set yourself any limits and decided that yes, you CAN achieve anything you set your mind to? Imagine how good that would feel.
Often our friends and family, although well meaning, can deter us from doing the things that we really want to do. This may be because it will have an impact on them and so they will tend to encourage you to stay where you are. It may be because they are jealous of you thinking of changing or improving your life as they could be too scared to do a similar thing. Either way, if you really want to change, you will benefit hugely from talking to someone whose only agenda is your agenda.
Before I began working full time as a Life Coach I successfully ran my own part-time music business, teaching piano to adults and children for over 10 years. Prior to this I worked as a Computer Programmer for a large company as part of their Support Team. Before I married and had children, my first career was in nursing. I have an overwhelming natural desire to see others develop beyond their wildest dreams.
It was the unique one-to-one environment of teaching the piano to adults that led me to train and qualify as a Life Coach. I frequently found that my clients told me I was an excellent listener, they wanted to talk to me about their lives on a regular basis! I completed an Introductory Counselling course in 2001, and I progressed on from that to pursue Life Coaching as a career in 2002.
I found Life Coaching to be far more positively focused than Counselling and this was the reason I chose the Life Coaching career path. I trained with The Coaching Academy, Europe's leading coaching organisation, and qualified with Distinction. They continue to offer support and further training, even after qualification, so that I keep myself up-to-date with the latest coaching ideas and news.
Initially I coached from home for a year, providing telephone coaching, I then spent over five years working from my office in Bloxham Mill Business Centre, coaching clients face to face.
In June 2009 I moved from Bloxham Mill to Cherwell Business Village, in Banbury, to be more centrally situated for many local businesses. The larger office that I now work from enables me to easily provide small group workshops, as well as individual coaching.
Telephone, skype and online coaching are all available for those clients who prefer these options.
I am a member of the Banbury and District Chamber of Commerce; I am also a member of the Federation of Small Businesses.
I take my profession very seriously and to this end I am covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance; limit of liability for any one claim - £1,000,000.00.

I recently hosted a radio show at banburyinternetradio.com and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is likely to become a regular occurrence, big thanks to Ian Gentles at banburyshireinfo.co.uk.
I have been a member of this group since the end of 2003 and I am now a Committee Member. If you are in the local area and you would like to come along to our friendly and informative lunch time meetings please do! For full details follow this link to BanburyBusinessWomen.
I look forward to meeting you there soon!
